Linear BBU Battery Back Up for Linear LDCO800 Garage Door Operators

The Model BBU Backup Battery Unit is designed to provide DC Power for Model LDC800 Linear Garage Door Operator during AC power outages. The BBU contains two rechargeable batteries that are kept and charged by the ldco800 operator. If the installation is AC Line Power is interrupted, the BBU powers the operator for a maximum of 24 hours. Operator backup battery life will depend on the number of times the garage door is cycled without AC power. The battery can be fully recharged within 48 hours after AC power is restored. The BBU contains an internal probe to indicate the current status of the battery. The unit performs a periodic self-test routine while AC power is present. If the battery tests low or dead, the unit will beep three times every minute to indicate service is required. Each ldco800Â is compatible with the cm. The BBU operator now has three holes in the chassis to mount the las and a connector board for the las on the BBU BBU driver. For retrofit installations, replace the LDCO800 operator controller card with a new model HAE00061 controller card that has the BBU connector.
